Values of a Spiritual Adventurer

Hello and Welcome to the greatest adventure you will ever take - to your Authentic Self! We have a responsibility as travellers on the path to ensure that we are doing our exploration in a way that is respectful of ourselves, each other and the Earth! Too many opportunities for healthy interdependence and learning have been lost to domination and colonization. As Spiritual Adventurers, we hold certain values dear in order to guide us on our way. While we don't have to have these skills yet and/or won't always get it right, we must have a willingness to learn and course correct. If you are not willing to learn and course correct then I am not the right guide for you! Please take note of the following values as they are part of the road map:

1) Humility: We must always be willing to hear "No". An ability to hear "No" indicates an ability to hold the idea that we don't know everything and that what we want to do is not the supreme. We respect boundaries - our own, other people's and nature's.

2) Inner Authority: One of the most crucial tools we have for liberation is the ability to be our own authority. When we can be our own authority, we do not have to rely on outside authority to define who we are. When we aren't dependent on toxic systems for resources or to tell us who we are, we gain our power back.

3) Reciprocity: Laws of Interdependence work based on a "lending" model, not "give" and "take". Any energy lent must be used elsewhere to give back. Both parties must leave feeling generated by an interaction. Even if the interaction was difficult, it is still possible for both parties to leave better than they came.

4) Protection: We mobilize to protect ourselves and others with either the boundaries or solidarity that is needed. We hold a field of vision on the realistic risks to ourselves on the path and we come prepared to protect ourselves. This includes boundaries of all levels - emotional, physical, spiritual etc.

5) Love: Love is always in service to long-term sustainability. It is not in service to comfort. A willingness to be uncomfortable in the short term for service in the long term is love in action.

6) Compassion: Not Pity and Not Empathic Distress, Compassion sets a boundary before it integrates common humanity.

7) Truth: The truth sets you free from illusions and conditioning so that you can be who you are.

8) Justice: Everything is energy and resources. Justice isn't about fighting over stories it is about balancing distribution of resources.

9) Fun!! Wherever we can find it! Life is here for us to enjoy. Yes, we've got some work to do but having fun, enjoying the places we adventure to and celebrating our hard work is absolutely essential
